Time To Unite

by D, Reid

You know how them beauties are with them fine dresses and rings of ruby.
The ones that do justice as they relax me and soothe me.

Sometimes a slip of the tongue can be all that it takes,
seizing an opportunity before it becomes a mistake.

Now double time it, you entities of a blissful massive world.
Lost to a moment where some guy meets some girl.

It's happening alright, a vibe which quickly gets hot.
Starting up your engines praying it don't suddenly stop.

If there's a will there's a way.

Let's show some dame there ain't no shame in my game.

Pity the fool who don't take a chance on romance.

Experience to light me up having me do things I can't.

So measure the level at which we strive to communicate.
The beginning to an end, hoping it's not too late?

A dozen or more attempts at to reveal honesty.

Honesty between people that defies all they taught me.

Regrets are a part of all the lies and sad cries.

Breaking apart bonds even severing ties.

So remember, how power and perception prevail above so much.

Although love comes full force it can be gone in a gust.
