by Alison Miller
I’ll let you paint me
nude. I only ask that you
remove my clothes
yourself, your body
close to mine.
Undo the clasp
of my bra and linger
at the straps. Pay extra
attention to my shoulders
as you slide them away.
Kneel to remove
my pants, leveling
your face with the warmest
part of me, hands firm
about my hips.
Urge my panties down,
the feel of the fabric
pulling away—
give me that
and nothing else.
